Situated between Peckham and South Bermondsey, this exquisite building was once a perfume factory transformed into a captivating development of 18 apartments. Preserving the building’s legacy, the brick walls and grand frame windows stand as a testament to its rich history.
The heart of our project lies in maintaining the authentic charm of the interior. Embracing this vision, we made the bold decision to open up the kitchen, creating a unique and luminous space while tastefully showcasing the exposed brick walls.
A captivating centrepiece in the living area is the original steel column, its presence leaving a striking impression. Moreover, the high ceilings add an extra touch of grandeur, enhancing the sense of openness and airiness throughout the space.
Fusing the old-world charm with contemporary design, the juxtaposition of the timeless brick walls and the sleek modern black kitchen creates an elegant contrast that elevates the ambiance of the entire space.
The loo’s material contrast through from terrazzo to cement walls gives an elegant and minimal stile.
